never had any problems yet with the tv. had even moved and was never damaged.

Great tv no geek squad did not mount or connect or install my tv

Not a fan of this peace at mind they sale you. I had a repair done on my daughters gaming laptop (the repair was for the screen not the battery.) when we got it back we plugged it in worked great okay awesome. Well she leaves it plugged in normally but one day we wanted to have a bring your system in the living room family gaming night she unplugged it and it shut off it would not turn back on. Unless the power cord was plugged in. took it back asap it happed to be the posted date it”expired”. they said it was already expired and I’m out of luck unless I wanted to pay their repair prices.I called the customer service line they seemed to careless. It’s my fault for not checking their work that’s why I say there is no peace at mind in it. I have 8 kids so I would normally buy the protection plan but not anymore no thank you.

The saleman pushed me into buying this plan. First offering 5 years for $50 then 2yrs for $30. Made it sound like the manufacturer would not warranty anything even for the first year. Pain in the butt.

This is great service and great to at least have for unexpected it situations. So far I have no issues or encountered bad experience yet.

I purchased Geek Squad for my replacement TV for $19.99 after the Best Buy branded full motion TV mount failed on my TV sending it crashing to the ground four feet below. They said the damaged TV returned to them was the one they had sent as a replacement. Literally, the serial numbers are printed on the boxes and in barcode form!!! If they would check the serial numbers, they could see that the tv sent to them was damaged, and it shouldn't have removed the geek squad I purchased... I gave them the broken tv and I fear that the mount will fail some day and they removed my geek squad 5 year...

We haven't had a chance to you use the warranty yet

Hoping I don’t ever have to use this extended tv warranty but I feel comfortable with Best Buy. It out my mind at ease a little…

Buying this protection was a waste. It covers nothing if sonething actually goes wrong with the tv or whatever you purchased. Might as well just buy a new one. Then, they can hardly ever fix anything in store. It always has to be sent off. Its just stupid.

Purchased with a very expensive OLED TV. Almost 1 year later the TV is having issues. There is power but the screen flashes once on boot up and immediately turns off. There is a pop coming from inside the TV when the power switches. The pop is not coming from the speakers but the power delivery module inside. Earliest appointment 11 days. 11 days is a long time to wait for just the initial visit when I paid nearly $1000 for this plan. They will still need to order parts or replace the TV as this is a hardware failure so I will probably be without a TV for over a month....

I brought a 55’ tv on March of 2020. I add the protection plan and the tv stopped working. It took a tech person 3 weeks to come look at it and determine it could not be fixed. Finally the tech person says the tv will be replaced. 3 weeks later I’m finding out they are not going to replace the tv and I’m just out of luck. What’s the point of buying the protection plan if I can’t get my tv replaced. It’s not my fault the tv can’t be replaced.

I have had no reason to use this so I'm not sure if it's a good deal or not.

they do not honor the geek squad protection, the customer service reps are overseas incompetents, that don't know what they are talking about.im shocked they havent gone out of business , they dsold me a roku tv that turns off and on when im using my air conditioner remote , the tv resets constantly for no reason . the foot stand risers just cracked and my tv fell now i have scratches on my tv .i will never by a roku or none american made tv .

I don't remember every getting this. It is always difficult to get the squad as I remember to get anything right.

I understand products aren’t made to last, however always purchase a just in case protection plan.
