I haven’t had to use it but my Smart TV cost me way too much not to have that reassurance.

I don’t remember getting this so I have to ask my wife how she likes it.

I used the geek squad for our new vizio TV, which was having a terrible halo effect. I was told just turn down my brightness to where everything looked so dark I couldn't the Halo, or anything else on the TV. I give 2 starts because the geek squad has done well for me in the past, but this was not one of those times

Have not used this yet but gives me comfort having it.

got the warranty i wouldn't normally get it but the tv cost enough to justify it.

Useless except the one thing i needed it for. Between kids and pets something is bound to hit the screen and of course thats not even an option with payment.

Paid 120 bucks for a 2 year warranty when I called they said that they could work on it bc the screen had been damaged like what am I paying for

The young kid was rude and ignorant at the Springfield, PA. Store. I asked him to check the warranty on the tv I brought into the store,he said this is the one when it was not,it was for a tv that they refused to cover saying the screen was cracked when the screen was not. He refunded the warranty coverage for this. He would not listen to me and walked away. No manager available as usual. I left the store instead of fighting. This was not the geeksquad I was dealing with.

This coverage sucks not worth it my tv got damaged on the move and they will not replace it .Even though I called geek squad and they said all I had to do was go to store I bought it and it would be replaced but it was a lie . Even though it’s in the contract that if damaged accidental it would be replaced not true .

We got a new TV and the sales person asked if we wanted to get the geek squad protection on it. We asked if it would cover damages to the TV that happened at home seeing as we have 2 raudy dogs and they bump into things constantly. The sales person said that it would cover that, so we got the plan. Low and behold today we went to get it replaced or at least fixed because the dogs bumped into it and broke the screen and whatever other board is in the TV. However we were told that the plan doesn't cover that kind of damages so we are mad on 2 fronts here. 1, that the sales person lied right to our faces and 2, that they cant do anything to help us. I went and read the terms and conditions to see what they said and we needed a GSP R plan not the standard GSP plan, that was never discussed and if we said that it could possibly be damaged wouldn't we want the plan that would cover/replace the TV. The TV was great, the BS wasn't.

I purchased this for the tv and thank goodness, have not had to use it yet. But I am sure Best Buy would take care of us.

It's highly recommended to buy yourself a protection plan when buying high end items. Cover your bases. Worth it!

So far it has been a horrible experience. Purchased a 5 year warranty for my 85” television. First phone call waited on hold for 25 minutes…no human ever answered. 2nd phone call waited 31 minutes and finally spoke to someone. First available appointment is 2 weeks away and I have to miss work and sit at home between the hours of “noon and 6pm”. Wow…that’s even worse than the cable company. And if this control board doesn’t fix the issue I’ll have to wait again for another time the Geek Squad is available. Wow!!!

We were made to believe that this covers everything. When the tv we bought this warranty for had a physical accident it didn’t actually cover it when we were told that it covered everything. We now lost out on almost $800 for the tv. It wasn’t covered. They refunded the extended warranty

Hoping I don't need to use it but if I do it was low cost and will be with it.

My husband wanted to purchase this , he does not want to deal with TV issues if they arise. fair price
