    Best news is I have not had to use it...yet. My last set made it only about four months beyond the factory warranty and I did not have this protection. That will not happen again.

    The five year warranty is great. I bought a TV years ago and the picture died and the warranty completely allowed me to get a comparable TV. Totally worth the money.
