This is a smart move for my family. We lost our last 2 big screen to a Ice-storm power surge. Now we are covered for 5yrs.

A Greek squad came right away and show me how to work the remote control and the and set my other remote controls on my TV

I purchased a TV with 5 years protection plan. After experiencing a problem, I contacted Best Buy, expecting support through the 5-year protection plan I purchased. To my surprise, they told me their protection doesn’t start until after the 1-year Samsung warranty ends, and refused to take responsibility. I then had to go through Samsung, who eventually admitted they couldn't fix the issue and ended up refunding me for the TV and taking it back. When I returned to Best Buy to get a refund for the protection plan (since the product was no longer with me), they said it was already "in use" and deducted money for the days that had passed, even though they never actually provided any service or support. they refused to give me support and pushed me to contact Samsung. Don’t trust Best Buy. They sell expensive products, and even if you purchase their protection plan, they’ll find a way to dodge responsibility. You're better off buying elsewhere.

Haven’t had to use it much yet, but adds comfort to future needs

A bit expensive but I hope if I end up using this one day, I don’t have to pay any hidden or additional charges.

Oh my gosh - we paid $50 for a 5 year warranty - with this going in our motorhome we couldn't pass it up. Yay

I did have a tv breakdown after the warranty so this time I bought the extended warranty. Not too expensive.

after reading issues people have with the very slim t.v.s today. I would say this is needed. JUST IN CASE. Its not a 5 because I thought it was pricey.
