I've purchased the two years protection because of economic reasons, but when it time to renew I will have that option. Hopefully I will never have to use it but I'm glad it's a option for me just in case I do.

I highly recommend this product if you purchase anything of value. This is where Best Buy is second to none there was no hassle and I had the geek squad out within 2 days to fix my issue with connectivity.

It seems unnecessary at the time, but it's better to have when you need it than be stuck with a 700$ tv that breaks down! We hesitated over purchasing this, but in the end we have peace of mind knowing that if anything happens to our tv over the next five years, the geek squad can help repair it!

Great protection .I had a TV go completely out they covered geek squad coming to my house and new TV. Only hastle was took a couple weeks get everything going .

I usually dont get the protection for anything, but since I saved so much money on the open box item I decided to get the protection so for whatever reason my gf TV will be repaired or replaced with little to no hassle. and since its added to your account dont really need to keep receipts since they can look you up in the system.

My Geek Squad Service purchase was the best purchase decision ever because when I needed installation assistance I called the Squad and they were at my home in less than an hour and done in less than an hour.

I've only used Best Buy warranty once in my life. It was with TIVO DVR OTA. It stopped working, took it to Best Buy, and they told me to get a new one. End of the story. K9

This is an insurance policy and as such it provides peace of mind even if it isn't ever used. It made sense for my TV and wasn't too expensive.

Excellent picture. Sound not that good. Documentation consists of too many pieces. Why not combine all into one booklet? Mounting feet seem too flimsy. Tipping danger. Feet should be beefed up. Be careful to note overall footprint width. It probably will not fit on your existing stand. I had to purchase a new piece of glass to accommodate extra width. Did not notice this because unit was wall mounted in store. My bad.

I always try to buy this plan on all of my purchases. Now, if my mother-in-law's TV breaks down, I can get it fixed for her.

Especially after reading other reviews on this tv and considering the great price, the cost of Geek Squad was minimal and provides peace of mind.

Had a 2015 Samsung screen die a week before warranty was up(planned obsolescence?) and BB gave me full refund and honored warranty. It's also the ONLY warranty to cover the specific term "burn-in" for OLED. Great warranty!

I purchased this TV and when I got it home and set it up there was an issue with the picture. Called and representative told me to bring it back and the would exchange it. The next day I got a new TV and they even checked to make sure everything was okay with it before I left the store.

Definitely worth the extra cost for peace of mind. Our other TV died a month after the warranty expired and we didn't get an extended warranty on it, so we learned our lesson.
