I've had two Samsung flat screens die at the 4 year mark. I had the 5 year warranty on the, First time it only cost me around $100 for a replacement. This time I switched to Sony and it cost me a couple hundred over the warranty refund. So I purchased the the 5 yr warranty on the Sony.

Geek Squad always someone ready to answer your questions and at the ready when you need to make an appointment.

I haven't had to use it for this product, but the Geek Squad has never let me down in the past.

Geek squad comes through again. This is the 2nd time that this warranty has replaced a very expensive TV with another very expensive TV. Very much worth the cost of the warranty. Sony warranty would not have covered the burn in issue on my former OLED. Geek squad replaced with no questions asked.

I javent had to use this warranty as of yet,but i have never had any problems in past.

I bought this because the price was so good, and I have had Geek Squad protection plans before. Have not had to use it yet, but its there just in case.

They were friendly and helpful but getting the appointment was more difficult than it needed to be

I have always purchased the Best Buy Protection Plan on big-ticketed items like TVs, laptops that could easily get damaged. I had been advised not to get it as it is a waste of money since products are built to last. But not all products do. For the $500/5yr Protection Plan I purchased in 2010, I have called Geek Squad several times to fix my broken TV. Paid $0 on all those house calls. When they could not fix the TV in my last service call, they replaced it. What did I get? A $1000 credit to go towards the purchase of a new one...Of course, I purchased the Protection Plan, thus this review :)

I always get the Best Buy warranties, they are great, never had a bad experience when i had to use my warranty. Worth getting.

The Geek Squad agent was very polite and helpful!! He corrected the issue with my Samsung Smart Tv very quickly the agent was very friendly and really was most qualified geek Squad member I have ever had the pleasure of being serviced by this knowledgeable and very professional person

Highly recommend extended warranty through Best Buy! The entire process is easy, and the techs are prompt and professional. They really took care of all my needs right through setup and walk through.

I have used geek squad in the past but it’s nice to know I have them to help set up my devices. I would definitely recommend them I really think it’s a great service!

Best Buy stands behind their products so I always buy the protection plan. Many people feel that the plans are a waste of money but they are wonderful if you have a problem with a product. I have bought many plans and never used them but on the other hand I have had plans on larger purchases that ended up being a tremendous product to invest in for the future of my purchase. I always spend the few extra dollars for my protection and peace of mind.

Nice tv picture quality but you have to sign into samsung every single time you do anything on this tv because SaMGSUnG suksballs
