Anytime I purchase anything over $500 I always purchase the extra protection plan. This way I know if something happens to my tv in that 5 year duration. Everything is covered as far as replacement parts, labor etc....

Absolutely a must-have. The Geek Squad service has always done right by us; be it taking our soundbar to their facility to be repaired or replacing our TV when things started not working. Please do yourself a favor and ensure your long-term purchases have backup beyond that warranty you'll never be able to navigate like Geek Squad!

I haven't had to use this yet, thankfully. Bought this coverage with a brand new LG OLED TV. Seemed like a practical buy given the price of the tv.

I purchased this along with a 50 inch LG 4K TV. We got the TV as a replacement for one that ceased to work. Fortunately, we had purchased the Geek Squad Protection plan on our previous TV as well. Best Buy took care of everything, they shipped our old TV to their repair shop and once they determined it was not repairable, they gave me the replacement value of the TV covered under the plan. It was a no brainer to purchase this plan on the new TV. Highly recommended!

I bought the 5 year as many short warranty TV breaks just after warranty ends, so lets see how long this 65 will last

I rarely have to use Geek Squad, but it’s always nice to have them available to protect a purchase!

It’s always great to have some extra protection for life’s unexpected events, and I like having that peace of mind.

I favor buying from Best Buy largely because of their Geek Squad for technical questions!

Geek Squad not able to help as product still under manufacturer warranty, but transfered me directly to samsung to get replacement

Bought the warranty with our last TV and it died. So glad we did. No questions asked, repair or replace and you get to keep on trucking. Happy to buy the same protection on our new TV!

Out of all warranties I’ve ever purchased Geek Squad is the only ones I truly trust.

My picture went out on my TV and the warranty covered a replacement TV. All done the same day. I received a larger television and cash because TV's cost less now.

Equipment or Appliance extended is my warm blanket of security. Anything goes wrong...Best Buy will make it right. Geek Squad always helpful...being an older person it's nice that while I don't know much the individual(s) behind the GEEK desk have always been patient. Warm blanket & Kindness...doesn't get much better than that! :)

Worth it! Comes in handy when you least expect it, got a new TV last time I used it. TV stopped working after I moved to a different home. Geek Sqaud guys stopped by and replaced my TV with a new upgraded Samsung.

Thank goodness for the warranties makes the process of buying easier knowing you're back up by BB. This warranty protected me and got me a new tv cause my unit became defective.

They had to come several times to fix the problem with a controller and could have done a better job with education on use of item but overall they performed well on fixing my problem. THe third visit technician was very knowledgeable and permanently fixed the difficulty with the remote controller and there was no extra charge for the last two visit. If you use them don’t be afraid to call them back if not working perfect.

Haven’t had to use it yet so don’t really know it’s worth but I know if you get a good GS rep it’s a good service

The greatest thing about the Geek Squad is that wherever I have used them they have always worked things out. And always there if needed.
