I have purchased this for four 55" TV's in the last eight years. And have used it twice. If they can't fix it. They will let you pick a replacement of equal or greater value on any brand. Of course, you pay the difference on any upgrade.

It is great that the Geek Squad is available when you have problems. My TV kept freezing. They came out and determined the problem. Got parts and installed. When this did not fix the problem, they gave me the option of returning my year old TV for a full refund of the TV, tax, and 4/5 of my Geek Squad. I then bought a brand new TV with better features. Great service!

Every item I purchase from Best Buy I always get an extended warranty one thing I say about Best Buy they stand behind their warranties thank you very much keep up be good work.

Do not do what I did and forget to add this to you're purchase, definitely worth the piece of mind it gives you. Also is a value and if the squad is ever needed are some of the nicest most patient people around.

Cant take the chance just go with the Squad iv always had issues in the past with returns and geek squad takes care of everything no hassle

My last tv had a problem nearly immediately after purchase. The Geek Squad replaced the hardware boards and the tv was fine for as long as I expected it to last.

We had a 2 warranty and had to use it two months before it expired got a full refund for original purchase and was able to buy a new tv the same day !!!!!! Great service

This 2 year protection service lived up to its promise. I bought a floor model TV. Ten days later it had technical issues. The Geek Squad surpassed my expectations. I not only received store credit for the TV, they also credit the money that I spent on this protection plan.

Would definitely recommend purchasing the extended warranty! My old tv stopped worked properly after 4 1/2 years and because I had the 5 year warranty, I received credir for my original purchase that allowed me to upgrade to a newer, better model plus some left over to purchase a bluray player.

The price was a deciding factor for me. Good product for price.

Purchased the extra protection because no one actually repairs televisions anymore, and it has been my experience that Best Buy geek squad far outshines any other competitors. They address issues and concerns promptly and can correct most problems over the phone or online. Great piece of mind.

It’s all just a big gamble isn’t it. Unless you have had first hand experience with other LG televisions. My LG television just died a little before its 5th anniversary. Maybe the television was on way more than normal during the 2 years of Covid. Anyway, decided it might be wise to have the Geek Squad on my side for this purchase.

I have not used this for my purchase recently, thoigh i will say my previous experiences with Geek Squad was useful to me.

This plan is well worth the cost and convience. I purchased this plan with a new LCD TV. My old LCD TV was only 2 years old when the picture went out. All I had to do was bring the TV into Best Buy Geek Squad and they sent it out for repair. A few days later, I was issued credit in full for a new TV because it was to costly to repair. I used the credit twords a bigger and better TV.
