You cannot go wrong with having peace of mind that if anything goes wrong with your product that it will be fixed or replaced. I have not had to use Geek Squad as of yet and hopefully I never will. One thing I did hear about the Geek Squad Protection is that replacement value of purchase goes down every year. For example if i purchased a $1000 tv and a 5 year warranty and after 3 years I start having problem and they cannot fix it and have to replace it. I will only get a credit of $400 towards a new Tv. I don't know how true that is but I did hear that from a BB employee.

This is an amazing TV! I can't think of any downsides. Perfect blacks and great color!

Excellent value services you hope you'll never need. Always a hassle when a large item fails and one needs service or a replacement. Geek Squad makes it easy as they come to your house to repair or replace any issues not caused by accidental damage. They also offer installation to simplify the process and that's also a great value. I have not needed to used them for my TV's but I always buy it for the peace of mind.

The agents came out to my house and diagnosed the tv within a minute. Very quick and easy process.

These warranties are excellent as they are serviced by geek squad which is part of best buy, not a third party which might not respond

A warranty that you want to have, security if you have a problem they will address quickly if there's a problem but I never had any problems with Samsung TVs.

Short answer....GET IT!!! Long answer...GET IT!!! Had a Fire Cube that failed, got a replacement, and the replacement was the next generation cube as they had changed since our original purchase. Taking a 70" 4K Samsung back this weekend that failed during the protection plan period....will probably get an upgraded unit as this model isn't made any longer. For high end stuff (TVs, Alexia, Google, etc) get the 2 year plan, it is worth the extra $$

I haven't needed to use Geek squad yet for this TV. Great picture for the price. I was really surprised at the minimal operations manual, you have to download it for details- the docs they provide should highlight or give a link for it. Overall very happy with the TV

Great for peace of mind, doesn't cover physical damage, wish there was an option for damage coverage on tvs at Best Buy

In the past, the Geek Squad Protection from Best Buy was quick, friendly and satisfactory. This makes everything about buying the new TV worry-free.
