This is the first time use of Geek squad for a defective TV. Absolutely awesome warranty support. Calling customer service was easy, was connected to a live person not a computer within a matter of minutes. An appointment was set up and a Geek squad member came down within a week to adjust the issue. Within 48 hours of issue in the system, my issue was resolved immediately. He wasn't fortunate that my TV was not repaired, but with a 5-year extended warranty, I was able to get a gift card as an exchange for my broken TV, and again ordered a brand new TV online and delivered to my house within week.

I hope I never need this! I expect that service will be excellent if ever needed.

It's essential to have this protection because you never know if a device will be good or not. It may come with a manufacturing defect that isn't usually noticed at first, but after a certain amount of use, a problem arises. That's what Geek squad protection is for. When I bought my Hisense - 55" Class H9G TV. I bought the 5 year warranty. It broke 4.5 years later. I took to the Geek Squad. They said it couldn't be repaired. I got all my money and put towards my dream TV LG OLED, So, I bought another. Highly recommend it. It was worth every penny.

Purchased Geek Squad Protection Plan, sometimes a deciding factor when purchasing item of a greater value. Great people and Team of experts at Best Buy! Not always needed, which is a good thing, but beyond any product's warranty and experiencing problems, they come and repair products on-site and if parts become unavailable, they will replace it with a new product. I can only speak highly of Geek Squad Services.

Price very competative. Hisense has been good so far but GeekSQUAD was happy to answer questions. Mainly bought because we had to return a SONY and a VIZIO for failures!

Awesome protection that was available when I purchased the TV.

In my instance, it was a lifesaver because I had a problem with my tv. The geek squad came immediately & exchanged it. I was wonderfully pleased. Initially i was hesitant because i nave 3 other Samsungs & never had a problem. It was the best decision.
