This protection was helpful but not in all the ways i thought. Some items don't qualify and that's not what i thought when i purchased. Now i buy individual protection for each item, it's easier to understand. The services are pricy so i never sought them out.

This is an amazing TV! I can't think of any downsides. Perfect blacks and great color!

I have not had to use this time I bought the protection. It does however give me piece of mind. Another time I bought this protection and did have to use it and it was easy to have them take care of everything.

I've never made a large purchase at Best Buy w/o the Best Buy Standard Geek Squad Protection service. A Best Buy Geek Squad Agent recently determined my Sony XBR-70X-850B had a bad panel / display after two years. I was provided a phone number to call for a replacement. Although I wasn't given "full credit" or what I paid for the TV two years ago, it was close to what I paid two year ago. I asked about upgrading to the Sony XBR-75X940D, and to my surprise, I was able to apply the "credit" towards a brand / model that was a "step-up" from what I had. Within 10 days, I had my new TV (Sony XBR-75X940D) delivered by two Best Buy Geek Squad agents and set up in my home. I won't ever go without the 5-year Standard Geek Squad Protection plan.

OLED TVs are known to occasionally have risk of burn in, so geek squad protection is always a great idea when the warranty is only a year.

Hope I never have to use it, but this is a great and affordable option for accident protection.

I luckily have not had to use this but I always purchase it for peace of mind and it works. Often they forget to ask me if I want to add the protection when that happens I ask them for it.

The Geek Squad got the Bravia 75" UHD TV up the stairs to my 600 sq ft loft area with no problems and put things together with no problems. I had the TV for about a week with no problems except for setting up and installing apps. Hardware wise the clock has started and we'll see where things go from this point...

This is an excellent deal for the five years plan as it stands my tv did last two years before problems then they replaced it without worry. I was so happy with the 3 year plan I bought with the first tv when I got its replacement I added the 5 year warranty which also came in handy when the remote went bad and got replaced again covered. Well worth the money!
