    Listen, I won't buy anything electronic without some assurance I'm going to have an exit strategy for when it goes kaput. Geek Squad by far has the best plan in the industry and has saved me from having to shell out major dollars more times than I can count on one hand. Its always straight-forward. You call, tech comes out and assesses the issue. They fix it or replace it... PERIOD!

    Having this warranty with Best Buy gives a great weight off your shoulders. The customer service and help alone is worth it.

    Quality TV, Meh Remote

    Overall a great TV with a high quality image. Removed 1 star for a slightly awkward home screen and a remote that doesn't include a microphone to search for things via voice command.

    GS saved my LIFE

    GS agents were patient, efficient, and made me feel confident they knew what I needed to get up and running with my system. My old laptop had 10+ years of family photos, professional files and my financial records. The device was dying a painful death but GS transferred all fills to new device.

    Have to buy new service agreement when TV replaced

    After we finally reached the Geek Squad, things went well. We couldn't reach them by phone, but finally did online. Despite spending a long time in our home trying, they couldn't fix our 65" Samsung TV. We had lost the right side of the picture. When they left, we had no picture at all. We had purchased the 5 year service agreement and lost the picture after 2.5 years. it was replaced with a comparable TV, but we were upset that we had to buy a new service agreement, with no credit left for 2.5 years, & that was $170!

    We bought a TV with the five year Geek Squad warranty almost five years ago. It developed white spots on the screen. We contacted Best Buy and they determined that it wasn't economical to repair and allowed us the full purchase price toward a new TV. It took a few weeks due to the virus problems but the entire procedure went smoothly. Naturally, we bought the five year protection on the new TV.

    Geek squad took great care of my claim!

    I always get the geek squad protection plan. It was a breeze submitting a claim 2 WEEKS before it expired. Geek squad attempted to repair my tv and when they couldn’t I was given store credit to purchase a new ones no questions asked.

    I can't believe after 1.5 years our TV went black. Geek squad came out. They did a wonderful job checking our TV and ordered parts. Geek Squad was kind to our dogs, house floors wearing shoe covers and especially to us the owners. Would recommend using them After the parts arrived Greek Squad came out again, Installed the parts, but TV still didn't work. Because we had Greek Squad protection warranty the purchase price was refunded by Best Buy card within 1 week.

    A no brainer for an OLED TV.

    Lots of people hate on the extended coverage programs but for an OLED TV, GeekSquad is a must. I wouldn't even consider getting an OLED if not from Best Buy, The coverage is the best in the industry, and DOES cover dead pixels, as well as burn-in. Highly recommend picking it up alongside your electronics purchases if the cost of replacing the item would be excessive or a burden.

    The warranty plans are good from Best Buy. I had to send off a tv and they couldn’t find a problem with it. Shipped it back to the store and when I picked it up it was doing the same thing. The manager went ahead and gave me store credit for the TV. I love Best Buy’s customer service.
