    Good warranty, just in case

    I haven't needed a Geek Squad associate to fix my TCL p605, which I bought the extended warranty for. However, I do have the confidence in knowing that if something goes wrong, a Geek Squad member will come by my home to fix my TV, if something does happen to it. And, if it CANNOT be fixed, I'll get a refund or replacement. Plus, I know some people, who have used the warranty and love it.

    Although it took alot of holding of the phone & waiting in line at the store, all in all, I'd recommend this protection plan. If it weren't for the 2 year plan we purchased, I'd have to fork out at least $500 for a TV comparable to the one we had that just gave out. Instead, we received a $400 gift card to use towards a new one. I paid $150 out of pocket for the difference. Not bad at all. In fact, this time around I paid for the 5 year protection plan. It could use some streamlining as far as customer service is concerned but still worth the trouble I went through.

    Why not buy a five-year warranty? The peace of mind and so much more that comes with it and if anything by chance happened in five years, you get it fixed free or brand new one.

    I have no problem picking up the Geek Squad Protection when I am investing in something significant - like this new 55-inch Sony 4K Ultra HD Smart TV. In today's world, where technology becomes obsolete so quickly - having five years of protection gives me the peace of mind I will be covered in case anything goes wrong during the "life" of my TV. Because in five years, I'll probably be buying a new one anyway.

    I purchased the accidental Geek Squad Protection to protect my devices as if I were protecting my financial investments. The Geek Squad Protection plan implements guidelines that serve as all around security blanket for my purchases. The plan covers a reasonable number of causes and cases that would need to be serviced.

    Absolutely worh thw price. The tv i had the protection on went out, and the plan covered it completely. I'm currently trying tonadd the same protection plan to the new replacement tv.

    This was protection for an Open Box TV. I have already reviewed that TV as excellent and the warranty was not needed. I cannot say I would recommend the service since I did not need to use it but if you are purchasing an open box I guess, like me, you may wish to buy the warranty as it still was cheaper than the full price of a new set.

    I thought when I had it delivered they would set it up, but they can’t. I did it, wasn’t too bad. This TV was delivered because I had purchased a Insignia 55”, and thank goodness the 5 year extend warranty. It broke. Went black after one year. I haven’t had this TV a month, so far so good. Ask me in a year or two.

    I had a problem with my tv they sent someone out right away. The person cane with mask for his and my protection. He was very professional and very nice. He took care of the problem and left. I am glad I purchased the insurance because everything was covered.

    I always buy the protection when spending nearly 2000 on a tv. Bought the KS9500 and within the first 6 months, the screen displayed a line of dead pixels! Glad I had the protection.

    I had bought a Vizio tv where it would shut of intermittently so I called Vizio they were no help. So bought a new Samsung tv I love this thing to death always purchase a extended warranty I hope I don’t have to use mine but if I do I know I’ll be covered! :)

    This helps to be be at peace as modern day televisions have softwares which generally gets messed up after a year. Also, generally usage of TV is very high and hence I would recommend 2 year top up to all especially my previous TV with other company not Samsung got messed up exactly after a year and I was out of warranty.
