    I haven't had to use this yet, and hopefully never will, but it seemed to be good value for the money to cover my new 65" Bravia OLED!

    The color mixing function on my 4 year old Samsung 50" 4K set suddenly went haywire one day when I turned it on. (Way too much red.) I noticed I only had a few weeks left on my 4 year protection plan, and they don't renew them beyond that time. The Geek Squad agent over the phone ordered parts including 2 different circuit boards to have on hand for the service techs on the assigned repair date. They came out & replaced a panel and tested the set, but that panel (or the main screen) failed after a few weeks. I again phoned in, and the telephone representative, after some helpful discussion, referred me to a very friendly, helpful replacement representative, who promptly offered to order me (at NO COST) a closest equivalent 55" model, since the older set was not worth more repair and didn't have a good direct replacement. She gave me a current dollar value, and said I could also choose any set I wished, just paying for any difference in price for any upgrade I chose. When I studied the spec sheets online, I noticed the old one had 4 HDMI inputs (I had 3 connected items) and the new suggested model only had 2 HDMI inputs. I noticed online the same model they suggested was available in a 58" screen size for $80 more, with 3 HDMI inputs. When I called them back and explained my dilemma, the rep checked out the specs, and immediately agreed, again at NO COST (that was a surprise), to upgrade me to the 58" size, and deliver it free, and pick up the old one. I also wished to purchase the maximum 5 year Geek Squad Protection on the new set, for only $89, which the agent agreed on. They handled everything on the phone quickly and even advised me that I had a $10 Rewards credit, and applied it to this purchase. Two days later, the delivery team delivered the new set and took the old one. I could not have asked for better, more friendly and helpful service from all involved. Well done, Best Buy and Geek Squad!
