    I purchased a two-year protection plan to cover my 58 inch Sharp Roku TV. The screen went black on the tv, I placed an order for repair on a Wednesday and they scheduled a repair for Friday of the same week. It is now Wednesday of the next week and my tv is still broken. NO ONE from Best Buy or the third party vendor has reached out to me I have to call them every day to get updates which give me little to no hope that my tv will ever get repaired. I feel like I'm being jerked around! What good is a protection plan when it takes forever to get service. I never thought I would write a review like this. Buyer Beware.....think twice before saying YES to the additional protection. It's just an additional headache!!!

    Didnt help me in anything sbout my product, i paid for the service but still they let me do everything including sending the peoduct back to manufacturer

    Geek Squad is harder to use than the Walmart warranty but after the headaches of all the questions of making you feel like you broke your product they finally fix it. Walmart doesnt ask they replace. I will only recommend do to I believe in extra warranties even geek squad

    Not sure if it's my new TV I bought from Best Buy or the Soundbar I bought from Best Buy, but it gets louder for awhile and then gets lower for a while, constantly.

    Sound bar 6-8 wks service is not ideal

    The time frame of sending a sound bar to get looked at and hopefully fixed for 6-8 weeks is a major flaw in service. My sound bar has been losing sound quality since 2019 and not having a replacement or a guarantee that it could get fixed makes the money spent on the protection plan pointless. I scheduled an appointment with geek squad to come to my home, but it was canceled today for an error of the item not qualifying for a home service. In 2019 I took the same sound bar to geek squad and was told if the issue couldn’t be found since it doesn’t happen consistently, then not much would be done to it.

    I bought the plan and was told if anything goes wrong they will replace it. When my tv broke i asked about what if the problem is with the sound bar? "They will relace it. I brought it in for service and the agent tells me, " we usally ship it to your home but let me check and see if you can pick it up here at the store. 10 minute later im told they can give me store credit for the old price. The new price is 50.00 more and then i would have to buy another protection plan fo 35.00 additional. Yup, worthless!

    Wish I didn't buy this open item. It was glitchy from the beginning. After 6 months it completely stopped working. Luckily we had purchased geek squad protection, so received a complete refund.

    Sound bars has good high and low sounds with a strong bass. The low review is coming from long term use. After 6 months. The sounds breaks in and out at random times. The bass box will sometimes make knocking notices. I have taken it back to Best Buy twice now with no improvement. I did get the protection plan but no luck. Tech agents say it’s fine but it’s not. Best Buy will not let me return it either. It’s just a mess.

    The agents mounted the tv and the amplifier. It has been about 3 years now and the soundbar no longer works and best buy could not repair it.

    recently have issues with sound bar, have a 4 year plan and its still valid. I keep getting the run around. Granted its a time when social distancing is in effect but still, if you know you can't fix it, I have the replacement plan and the item isn't working nor allowing other speakers to connect to it and you have done all the trouble shooting asked then its time for a replacement. Thats what I bought the 4 year warranty for, but here I am. Frustrated over paying good money for an item that quits working properly and a service that also seemed to have stopped working that I paid good money for.....
