My new car radio worked fine for about a year then it would stop playing my CDs and DVDs. My SD card was erased too. I was able to replace the unit with a newer version of the unit I had before.

Once the manufacturer warranty expires on your purchased item your basically on your own.. BUT if you have the Best Buy Warranty shall anything go wrong your covered. I purchased the 4 year warranty & so glad I did.
