The original car stereo that I purchased was defective. Best Buy was was awesome and worked with me to try and get the unit working but to no avail... They then allowed me to choose a different manufacturer that was on sale for the same price as the original purchase. Thanks Best Buy. No hassles at all. Very satisfied. The Geek Squad protection was exactly what I expected.

I can't say enough good things about Geek Squad car audio installation service in Fairfax, VA. The guys who work here are friendly, creative, fast, amenable and thoughtful. I like doing things myself, but these guys are so good that's much more fun to take products to them to install and to learn from how they do it. I recommend them very, very highly.

I always purchase the extra or extended warranties when i buy any products that are eligable. I believe that this extra or extended service is a very reasonable insurance for said products & would suggest to all customers to purchase it when you can.

Warranties are a must for electronics, and Best Buy has some the best warranties you can get. Had a problem with an item before and it was replace and fixed before I could say anything. Good idea to get the warranty fo the most amount of years as you can. That way your guaranteed that product for those amount of years.

Highly recommend getting Geek Squad protection. It's a 4 year product warranty, but a lifetime install warranty. I've had problems with the wiring in my car after the warranty expired, and they quickly fixed the issue without charge. Highly satisfied.

Like all extended protections, it feels good to have it if anything goes wrong. I especially like this one because I was told it will cover the items I bought as well as the removal and replacement. I haven’t had to use it yet so we will see how it goes.

The warranty should start after the manufacture warranty expires and not at the same time. If your item breaks during the manufacture warranty Bestbuy will replace it hassle free which is outstanding, never have had any problems with that

I bought it, even though I normally don't, for my car speakers. I HOPE I don't need to use it. But from my experiences in the past....I have needed to use it and they honor it pretty easily..no hassle returns. And they fix or replace anything that is covered.
