Love this movie this 4k transfer looks amazing on my oled

My local best buy did not have this in stock for a long time. So when I saw only one sitting on the shelf I had to pick it up. Classic movie that pops a little more in 4k.

It’s that one movie that I will say you probably just don’t get if you say it’s bad. Even for me I didn’t get it till about my 4th-5th time watching it but it was worth it

I have waited years to finally get my hands on this 4K release. All I can say is that it was definitely worth it the wait. Hands down one of the greatest films ever created.

Nothing can be said that hasn't already about this iconic film. A superb and engrossing sci-fi movie. Way ahead of it's time in it's vision and storytelling.

a must have if you have a 4k hdr tv. this is a showcase for those tvs. the colors and the sharpness are breathtaking. the film itself is strange.. but fun..love it

every scene is brought back to life with this true 4k scan of the 72 mm film. very good color and contrast as well with HDR. best way to view the movie by far

This movie is phenomenal. I remember watching it as a child 30 years ago and discovering a love for space and science. Watching it in 4K renewed that feeling.

What can I say Kubricks 2001 on blu ray was a no brainer for me to purchase. Great behind the scenes extras and outstanding picture and sound upgrade.

Man, the movie is great but the picture and sound are better than any new movie ive seen. Watching this on my OLED tv i bought at Best Buy is a blast!

I had already heard great things about this transfer, but to see it first hand, the image is stunning! It seems like a recent release. Highly recommended!!

UHD/HDR adds a bit to this 50 year old film. The movie saddens me a little, though, at the way the future turned out. It's also very slow for modern viewers. (Fortunately, I'm not one.) I still fast-forwarded through the psychedelic bit at the end of the movie. Goes on for 3X as long as needed. (Sorry, Stanley Kubrick!)

This is a masterpiece of a movie and the they have done an awesome job in this remastered version of this movie! If you love this movie this is a must have!

This 4K version allows one to see the film as close to it's original 70mm version as is possible. Get a 4K projector and large screen to enjoy it even more!

You cannot go wrong with this Sci-Fi classic movie! Even better in 4K! Such a futuristic film in its heyday! Can't believe it was made in 1968!
