Everyone has heard about or has seen 2001 A Space Odyssey. At times it is hard to follow and the ending left people asking what just happened. 2001 A Space Odyssey was released in 1968. In 1968 the special effects were amazing. Now in 2018 redone using 4K technology the special effects really stand out. But if you didn't understand or like the 1968 version, the 4K version will not change your mind. But if you were not around in 1968 and have never seen it I recommend that you purchase this film and decide for yourselves. It is worth the money. Arthur C.. Clack wrote 4 Space Odyssey novels, 2 were made into films 2001 A Space Odyssey, 2010 Odyssey Two (The film was called '2010 The Year We Make Contact'). The last 2 novels 2031 Odyssey Three and The Last one 3001 The Final Odyssey. I read the other day that a Cable network has bought the rights to 3001 The Final Odyssey and plan to make it into a mini series. I am hoping that the 2nd of the 4 books made into a film 2010 The Year We Make Contact is released in 4K also. That film answers a lot of questions that were left where 2001 A Space Odyssey left unanswered. A great film especially in 4K.
