    2001 is slow, no doubt, but it has amazing visuals and a great concept. The special effects of this movie were groundbreaking and without them Star Wars wouldn't have happened next.

    A great film to watch on a rainy day! The only downside is that even with the special effects that "were so 70s"...With digital you can see right through some of them! Hal. ..hal. .
