Space odyssey was a great sci-fi movie. I was surprised more people didn't know about it, it ended up being a big hit at movie night!

a real classic space film. brought back memories of when I first saw it. Great soundtrack with Also Sprack Zarathustra

On a 75 inch LG 4K screen it looked amazing. Was nice to see the old movie upgraded.

2001 is not for everyone. But if you like it the 4K is worth it.

A classic movie with effects that still dazzle..not much story for modern audiences but alot of deep meaning hidden within..

My son LOVES this movie so I got it for him. I'm not particularly a big fan though I will say that the effects were way beyond it's time. Filmed in the late 60's, the effects are still solid I think even by today's standards. The movie has some interesting philosophy and there are long stretches with no dialogue. Still, for the avid sci-fi fan, this movie should definitely get a viewing.

Good move from start to finish and keeps you guessing until the end.

I don't know whether to base this review on the product or the movie itself. If you love the movie, you will love this blu-ray. The picture and sound are excellent and technically it is beautiful and full of great features. However, every time I watch this movie, I am always amazed at how beautiful it looks but how I wish it moved more quickly and had more of a story.

I bought this as a gift for my husband who is a sci-fi junky and loves this movie, so for him it's great.

I was returning a broken wireless headset for replacement. However the clerk couldn’t find in the system where I had purchased the plan. If you look at my purchases you’ll see I get one every year or so. I have a brother living with me who has cerebral palsy. He really only has the use of one arm. He’s also hard of hearing so I bought this headset for him to watch television. Every time I get a new set I always buy the replacement plan. I really thought I had purchased it the last time but maybe not. If it didn’t get bought the error was the clerk. I’m pretty sure I only paid 20 some dollars for the set that broke. That would have been for the new plan. I’m not sure what happened but it was very frustrating.
