    I have had this TV for about four months. For those four months, it was great. Picture is quite good considering the price. However, the speakers have now started to emit a buzzing sound on mid volume. May have to just hook in my own speakers to compensate. Regardless, expected it to last longer than this.

    4months old and shuts off

    TV is used in kitchen, so it's not on all that much , now it just shuts off and on by itself ! Stays on and "poof" it's off , very annoying!! Gonna bring back to BB , but it's a 100 miles to closest Best Buy , so I have to take 4 hrs out of my life and $30 in gas to bring a Piece of junk back to get replaced !! Not happy !!!!

    I bought this unit to put into my bedroom while I recovered from surgery.. I watched it a few times. After I recovered, I attached it to a cable box in my back room, to use both as a laptop monitor and as a TV. I didn't use it. I bought and installed Apple TV. I discovered that there was only one HD port on the TV set in the living room. So I swapped TVs, since the Insignia set had two HD ports. I got the remote for the set. Nothing. So I put in new batteries. It did turn on the set, but the Input button did not work. I used the buttons on the top. No response. So I guess I paid about $25 per use and now have something to throw away.
