The sound is fine for now . Ive read a lot of reviews on the sound , saying that the sound is tiny & not as loud. I have to disagree . Its only 24" so its not going to have a surround sound affect . The sound to me is perfect .Overall, money well spent !

Came back from class and picture was scrambled, inner screen seemed to be cracked. No sign of external damage, hadn't been dropped or knocked over. We don't have any pets. Manufacturer defect? Shipping damage? Took it back to store. "Sorry you're out of luck. We can't refund or exchange for ANY signs of physical damage." Manager said even if we had just bought it, plugged it in and screen was damaged, they couldn't take it back. Warranty would not have covered damage either, so at least THAT money wasn't wasted. They did offer to recycle the tv "free of charge". Surprised they didn't charge for that. So, my advice, have them open the box and plug it in before you leave the store. Don't know if the bigger issue is with the tv or Best Buy, but guarantee it will be a LONG time before we buy anything else from Best Buy.

BUT, not for you if you plan to watch antenna TV. My 2 existing TV's will pick up 15 local channels. Disconnect coax from existing TV and connect to this TV and it finds 6 channels. 3 are not received at all, the other 3 are barely there, pictures segments come and go.

But this TV is way too cheap and the material is not good, it is too fragile. Spend just a little bit more to get a really high–quality Vizio TV or Samsung TV or even just a monitor.
