    Best Buy had a deal for Apple gift cards on Christmas Day via their website. The deal was purchase a $100 Apple gift card and get a $15 Best Buy gift card. When it was delivered, I tried to redeem the Apple gift card to my Apple account. Upon attempting to redeem, I was greeted with an error that "this card is not active". I immeadiately called Best Buy, and I was on the phone for over an hour. I was transferred multiple times with multiple representatives trying to activate it. After many failed attempts, I was assured that I would get an email within 24-48 hours with a new card that I can use. It has been a week now, and Best Buy has been anything but helpful. They now tell me via email "there is no timetable for when this will be resolved". It really feels like they are giving me the run around hoping that I forget about it. I've been a loyal Best Buy customer for my entire adult life, but this has really put an extremly sour taste in my mouth for Best Buy. I will *never* be purchasing a gift card from here again. I really encourage anyone else to shop elsewhere if looking for gift cards, too.
