I like this ice maker because its portable & makes ice fast.

Great ice maker; I turn it on when I get home from work and by the time I've put things away and gotten settled, there is already enough ice for a cold drink. My only complaint would be that it does not keep the ice cool, and it therefore can melt into a giant ice clod.

This is awesome. Easy to use. Fast ice making. No mess.

Makes ice quickly and continually, great portable ice maker !

Out of the box and making cubes in less than five minutes! This unit was purchased because a freezer ice maker was not working. It makes ice incredibly fast, is relatively quiet while it is making ice, and provides alerts when it needs more water or when the tray needs to be emptied. Outstanding value, especially given the sale price!

I love the water recycling feature but be sure to keep the water well clean and disenfeced. You have the option to choose two ice sizes but I have found that the large setting is best for minimizing melting. I buy filtered water to fill the “well” and it is amazing how long a gallon of filtered water lasts!

Although this machine makes ice quickly, the ice melts very fast. It is good for making ice for one or two people. To make it for a party or get together you will need to start making ice early by dumping the ice from the basket and put it in a freezer. The machine is not a freezer. The ice melts in the machine.

My fridge is a convertible so it does not have an ice maker this little ice machine can pump out a good amount of ice but it will not keep up with demand if you do not plan ahead and have a few batches already done before the party starts but for me and the family we use it a couple times a week and all is well.

We have a small packed freezer so we use portable ice makers instead. We have been through three different brands in three years, none seem built to last longer than a year. We have had this one for a month or so and it seems well built. We'll have to see if this one lasts longer than the previous ones, hope so.

The first one I received didn't work, the power wouldn't turn on. After taking the first one back to Best Buy I wasn't sure I wanted to try a second one but I did and it works fine. Only complaint is I wish the ice cubes were bigger, they melt very fast.

Great unit for making ice. Small & Large Cubes. You just pour in the water, and the cubes are formed around a stainless steel rod and then accumulate in the container. You can either use right from the container or refreeze for later use.

I got this for my brother’s house. He loves it! I like to play with it when I am over. Under the ice tray is the water reservoir. The ice dumps into the top. My only complaint is sometimes the ice in the tray melts together. Crazy fast! Literally can watch water freeze over for hours!

Only used this ice maker for about three weeks,so far it's been great makes ice far faster than our old unit the small size of the Insignia is deceiving, it's small but makes a lot of ice. But like any appliance time will tell how good it is, Buy the extended warranty.

I use this ice machine on a daily basis to make ice for my family. I have a very small apartment size fridge/freezer, so I don't have the luxury of being able to buy bags of ice, as there is no room. I'm really grateful to have this ice maker and to be able to make as much or little ice as I need.

We use this product every day and never have had one issue. Makes ice fast and is a excellent thing to have because your ice maker in the fridge can’t keep up with demand. Must have in everyone’s house. It’s ran everyday for hours and never fails.

I gave it 5 stars because we absolutely love this machine. I just wish that it would keep the ice cubes frozen for the length of time that they are in the tray. They melt after a while and thaw and remake themselves. It is hard to listen to the drop in the middle of the night.

Right out of the box this ice maker produced ice cubes in 7 minutes. Has worked flawlessly since we purchased it. One great thing is if you leave the ice cubes in the basket and they melt, the water goes into the water reservoir and it just makes more cubes. Never run out of ice again. Buy this for your home or camper.

I keep this in my office along with my mini fridge. With the exception of when it's actually dumping ice, it's no louder than my min-fridge or the air conditioner. Makes it's first batch of ice within 10 minutes of plugging it in and continues to dump another batch every 5 minutes or so after that. Works great for me!

Ice every 13 minutes. Works like a charm. Love it!
