Great with some exceptions

As an ice chewer, it has a good texture once it starts melting and fun to chew . The only downside about it is that it doesn't keep the batch of ice cold enough so if you're not using the batch in about 30 min, it will start melting and the water would be recycled. I put the batches of ice in the freezer to keep it cold though. Overall, a good buy/gift.

Great Ice Maker
