The bay where the already made ice sit doesn't stay cold enough, so the ice will melt.Then it will keep making ice all day. Also I have to sometimes turn it off and back on for it to see I put water in.

Not worth the hassle...
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Read the other reviews and thought this would work out, but...It is so slow, it takes 10 minutes to make 9 little ice bullets. By the time the next batch of 9 is ready, the first 9 are half melted! Can't wait long enough to get enough ice to make a tall glass of iced tea. If you want ice for a drink, you better plan ahead! If you want to store ice as it is made, you must check the machine every couple cycles to get it out, plus it is very wet ice, re-freezing into a big glob. As long as it takes to make ice, I am not sure the electricity it uses doesn't cost more than buying ice at the store! I'll be returning this, not happy at all.

Quit working after only one use
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Purchased this icemaker from Best Buy online August 9 2017, it was delivered August 11, 2017. I ran several cycles to produce ICE... granted, it was very slow...but it worked. Plugged it in this morning and it keeps telling me to add water when it has water in it. Turned off and on several times till finally the compressor kicked on and it produced the first handful of ice cubes. It's still telling me to add water and compressor isn't kicking on. And now I'm just a few days past the 15 day return... which really sucks!!!
