1200 Watts - 2L - 12 Minutes to boiling

Cord for the power base comes out the right side of base as viewed from the handle end of the kettle. Lid latches are molded into the lid and latch securely, but requires two hands (one to hold down kettle) to open, compared to multipart spring-loaded latches on other kettles. At 1200 watts, it is underpowered compared to the highest 1500 watt kettles. 500ml water required 4 minutes to boil, compared to 3 minutes in a 1500 watt kettle. Pros: Large 2L capacity. Cons: 1200 watts = slower to boiling. Difficult lid.

Did not work long.
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I bought this about 6 months ago. I used it 3x week. Yesterday, 'poof'! No longer works. I guess I'll take it apart to see if a wire is loose or something. AARGH!
