    fortunately, my Mac has an outlet for this usb-c because I didn't realize it was a "C". They have to stop changing plugs so often because it gets too confusing. Make sure you know the difference because it would probably be a hassle to return once the box is opened.

    The cable is just that...a cable. Although, I will say that the build feels slightly cheaper than the cables that come with iPhones or MacBooks. Typically Apple gives the cable a rubber-like texture with a grippy feel, but this one does not have that same feel.
