I purchased these as gifts and had to explain about the C verses the B.

These things get a lot of wear and tear and usually don't last more than a year or so... and they should considering the price. I opted to get one because of a promo they were having, and helps not having to dig in for a converter every time you need to charge your phone with the new macs.

This cable is great to connect it to the new MacBook Pro and other MacBooks 2019 and over to upload pics from my iPhone to my MacBook easier.
