    They work well compare with other cables, only because of proprietary chips which prevent other cable manufacturers from effectively handling data. Over time, the outer jacket of every Apple lightning cable we receive or buy soon degrades and disintegrates. We have to either dip them in liquid rubber or buy more cables. This is inexcusable for what you have to pay for a genuine Apple cable - planned obsolescence by the masters of gouging customers.
