I use this a lot, but honestly mostly for stills. My fiancé loves that we can get pictures of ourselves in hikes and kayak trillions that aren’t awkwardly posed selfies limited by the length of my arm. This thing is a huge part of that, and it really can really work in any situation and from any angle as a tripod/stand. When we do use it as a self stick, the fact that it can be arced, rather than being a straight pole, makes it much easier to keep the pole out of the pic.

I really like this tripod. The different bins you can put in the stick will help remove the extender from photos and it has a really good build quality

Fantastic accessory for my GoPro. Basically an all in one essential, I did a wedding shoot and never had to change equipment.

This is a good tool for the GoPro. Can setup in multiple angles and positions that allow for multiple views for your recording pleasure. Only issue I noticed is when using underwater, especially saltwater. I advise you do some research on cleaning post water activities because I wasn't aware when I first used it in saltwater. It became extremely hard to open and made quite a bit of noise when opening or moving in certain positions.

Recently purchased with a GoPro Hero 9 and have used it several times. It pretty much stays attached to the GoPro bc if it versatility. I have used it snorkeling and scuba diving and have really enjoyed the multiple angels you can adapt this hand unit. It works great in video applications and photos also. I also purchased the floating handle for these water applications but have never used it bc this unit offers so much more flexibility.
