    I have brought GoPro clone tripod and it does work. However, the build quality was not that good and the tripod broke just after a few outings. Remember GoPro is action camera and all accessories have to be rugged as well. This GoPro built tripod is just built for actions, it is rugged where it needs to be, the folding, the articulate ball head all work very well. I have used it for a few outings using for both GoPro and my iPhone and it has been solid.
