I luckily haven’t had to use my protection plan for my camera yet, but the perks of this plan are great. Plus, in comparison to protection plans from target, Amazon, and canon itself - this is definitely worth the value.

I always get the protection plans for electronics that are a higher ticket cost. I've only had to use the service a couple times throughout the years and that has already made it more than worthwhile.

Bought it just in case we needed it. Hopefully we won’t. But it gives peace of mind in case something happens. Have used them in the past with a computer and they helped tremendously

Worth purchasing if the device is known to fail. Be sure to do research on the product of its longevity before purchasing it. For example, Any Blu-ray game or media disc is scratch-proof no need for a warranty.

I highly recommend getting geek squad protection on a camera. I brought one camera that got knocked out of my hands in Egypt and didn't have it and it was destroyed. Really glad I had it for this camera.

Got this for my camera as it is smaller with a flip out screen and wanted to protect it against any damages.

Works good and so far hasnt broken after a few drops. Takes time to get the hang of, but it could just be because it is my first camera.

I've used Geek Squad before and if they can't fix it they give you credit for the amount you paid for the item!

Haven't used the protection (yet). Unfortunately, it didn't cover the rechargable battery that came with the Canon camera I purchased. Trying to get from Canon. I hope it will be worth it if I need it. Have had too many tech purchases (lately Visio TV) break - sometimes the protection is a godsend - other times not. So will just have to wait-and-see on this one.

The first time I needed this service, it was one day past the time line for returns and that was the last time that was to happen, out of the last 20 purchases I’ve returned 6 of them hassle free. Service recommended
