it is a good service and although i did not need the service i was very pleased

My MSI laptop had a major problem with the fan. It was constantly overheating and the fan was unusually loud. Took it to Geek Squad and walked right out with a laptop working like it’s brand new!

Always worth getting especially if you not tech savy they also come to your home. Helped a lot when mom used, I don’t like how scammer use geek squad to gain access to people computer and hold for ransom.

So far, I haven't use it yet, but it's good to have just if case something happens

This protection ended up being a blessing. My daughter's laptop screen accidentally cracked within a month of purchase. The whole machine was marked as not fixable and was replaced at the store with no charge. It took a few hours at the store to actually make this happen but with a good result. Only thing questionable is why my 2 year protection was used completely when only one month was actually used. I could understand taking one year of the protection to make up for the unfixable pc but I think one year should have been reimbursed or put towards the new pc.

Went middle of the road on this rating because I haven’t used geek squad and I’m sure by the time I have a problem my year will be up anyways.

Bought a Asus zephyrus open boxed - the fan went out. I bought it to th nearest best best, informed them that I have a 3 years warranty, and none more was said, the item was boxed, shipped out to serves. I am expected to receive it today, and it's only been a week. Can't beat that kinda member service - you get what you paid. Service is premium.

I have not used geek squad for this device, however, I have in the past for other devices. It is worth if you plan to carry it around with you for school/work etc. My daughter busted her chromebook screen 2 weeks into school and this definitely saved us from buying a new one. They fixed it, within a week she had it back. That was during covid too.

Always good to have extra insurance on electronics. But overall is a great laptop. Love it
