Don't remember what this protection was for...just leaving a review for the points.

This protection was very useful and I am very glad I bought this item.

I have not had to use the service yet, but I'm sure it will be what I need should I have to.

The plan is worth every penny if it is needed, and I pray I don't have to use it.

LOVE it. Get it on every product I buy. I would never buy an electronic without this

Computer would not power on, not even 1 month out of the box. Have the Extended Warranty, took it back to a "local" (not by my home) BB. They said they have to return it to ASUS, it should be 2-3 weeks. A MONTH later, get the computer back, no charger. Called ASUS. Literally told me, "someone will email you in 4 days". That is UNACCEPTABLE for a 3K laptop ALREADY in for warranty work. On the phone with BB, the FIRST rep tried to help, but she couldn't get the store on the line, AND they don't even sell a compatible charger. Transferred to 2nd rep, told me to do a 3 hour drive back to the store (me thinking: "Are you mad, lady"). Transferred to another rep, can't do anything to help. Transferred to a 4th rep, guy also can't compensate. I'll never buy another ASUS again, and to BB..., I was only buying from you for one and ONE reason alone (Reward Points), now that's not even worth it (after another SILLY issue with a Car Audio Install). You've lost a customer permanently. Just a bunch of BAD... All around..

5 PC LT last 25 or so years and Squad folks have saved me and info several times. Great product support.

This is a great protection product. It covers the laptop even if you spill something on it.

Haven’t used it yet but it’s possible given my son is a freshman in college.

My hard drive crashed on March 27th, I called for service and was told a box would arrive in a couple days. It didn’t so I called back after being on hold and having a rep call me back I was told the same thing a box would be sent out. Guess what no box showed up so I called this pst a Wednesday April 8th. I spent 4-5 hrs trying to get through to someone my call was answered twice but they picked the phone up and hung it up(Very Professional) . Each time I had to start the process over hence the 4-5hrs wasted of my day. The rep assured me I would have a box at my door in 24-72hrs that would be by the end of the day today is 72hrs guess what no box. I need this laptop so I can work from home and not take the risk of contracting Covid 19. We are three weeks in and I can’t even get a box sent to my house to return a item that I purchased the warranty on. So now I need to escalate this to whoever is next in the chain because nothing is being done with my case # 251350862.

Price is going up, but we always have great service with geek squad.

I can sleep peacefully knowing my computer is covered if I ever spill my beer on it. lol
