    They really tried to help over several days, but were unable to fix the problem and blamed the problem on the computer. Called my IT friend that then fixed the problem in less than 15 minutes.

    Never ever sign up for Geek squad. Took a "protected" computer to be serviced due to a power surge which was clearly covered. Waited a day to have a service apt, which didn't fix the problem. the next day returned for another fix on the same computer and were charged close to 100$ for repairs. the fee was charged due to being too beat down after 5 hours waiting to fight at the time. The next day a call was made to request a refund and the tech over the phone transfered me over and over and started making discusting noises on the line while on hold. I'm now asking for a full refund on the geek squad....horrible service!!!!!!

    Not sure why the sales associate felt I really needed this add-on when I already had the Total Tech Service Agreement in place but I was in a hurry and paid extra for this. Sometimes your Best Buy is to take your time and consider just purchasing on-line so you have some time to think before pulling the "gotcha" trigger.

    1 year accidental coverage for Microsoft laptop, The charging cable stripped and was replaced. but was replaced with a third party charger, not an original Microsoft laptop charger. does not stay in the port keep falling out. and it already broke. not sure if best buy will replace since warranty is up. have not been able to go to best buy due to Covid 19

    My plan expired four days ago, and Best Buy would not honor the fact that I paid $260 for it and didn't make a single claim in the two years I had coverage or even offer a discounted repair service.

    I keep getting the runaround and transferred from one person to the next. I am told that the 3 year accidental geek squad protection plan does not cover accidental damage. What a crock. $300. Accidental plan that does not cover accidental damage???????

    I had issues with my computer from the day of purchase and continue to have the same issues today. I received no help from the Geek Squad. All they would do is offer to send my laptop to the manufacturer (HP) for repair.
