I cracked the screen on my laptop and took it to The Geek Squad the following day. They shipped it off to Kentucky and it was fixed. The whole process took about 10 days. If you can deal with the wait, it’sa good piece of insurance to have if you do not want to do the repair yourself.

Never had an issues to need to use the protection plan but glad I have it in case I need it.

I'm not saying i'm clumsy or that I'm prone to accidents, but, it helps my peace of mind to have protection on my electronics. For a few cents a day, I'm covered for most every type of unfortunate mishap. To me, that's a deal.

So far Gook Sqaud has helped each time I have asked for help after we got off to a very slow start last year when I bought my TV. Getting my TV installed was not easy and it took a number of months to finish the installation.

I had purchased a lot of electronic devices through Best Buy and I always believed in them and the services they provided. But a year ago I purchased this computer and everything was ok until the 11th month after my purchased. The computer started acting crazy and it was not responsive at all. I took it to the closest Best Buy and Geek Squad agent checked it out. They told me "they were going to check". The same night they called me back saying the computer have nothing. Next day I went and showed the agent the many videos I took of the computer. They told me they will send it out. Well, I wait 4 weeks,( just enough time for my Geek Squad Protection to expire ), then they called me saying it was ready that it was a problem with the LCD and they have replaced, I do not know what is the relationship between display and system crashing and computer acting slow. So I took it home and tried to download a game and the computer is acting worst than ever. Well played geek squad, from now on I will purchase my devices elsewhere because I do not trust best buy services anymore. Do not purchase the Geek squad protection, they will take your money and do nothing when your device have a problem!!!
