I buy Best Buy geek squad, accidental damage protection plans for almost all of my electronics. They have come in handy quite a few times, and the customer service is always top-notch.

Don't get a computer at Best Buy without this protection! I know it seems like a pricey addition, but if/when your computer breaks or is damaged, you don't have to pay ANYTHING. And if it needs to be replaced, you receive store credit for the full amount you originally paid (to put toward a replacement or whatever you want). When my last laptop bit the dust, I was literally able to get a new laptop with the credit and with the leftover credit after the laptop purchase, I was able to put it toward replacing my fridge that broke. GET THE PROTECTION and don't let it lapse without going and getting any issues that arise with your product fixed or the whole thing replaced. Best investment!

This laptop is holding up great after three years. It plays games and runs photoshop, which were my two main ideals with a laptop. I'm also a full time college student and this laptop has been great for that. The only thing I will say is that this laptop is so huge that traveling it is not good. This works best as a desktop. I wish I remembered I had 3 year geek squad protection since a rubber piece is coming off on the bottom of the laptop. It was nice to have that reassurance that I could call the geek squad.

It's very effective to have on hand. Not just for prevention but if you have a malfunction or question even about how to properly use a device. It's helped me so far. We got it as a protection just because and so far it's been good.

I had to bring in my Daughter's laptop for a small repair and the associate that helped me was very nice and helpful. The manager was called over to help me out as well and performed the repair and got it done quick. I was very pleased with my experience with the Geek Squad.

Geek squad service has to be one of the best out there. They provide literal hassle free service with any of your items. I have been using it for over 8 years and have not encountered any issues when it comes to fixing laptops, cameras, phones and headphones.

Extended warranty is a great option for I previously accident

I didn't even know we payed the coverage!! We lost the airpods less than 2 weeks of purchasing and my son just jumped into the pool after he graduated with his Iphone . So I hope n pray resolving these issues are easy peezy

In my 10+ years of purchasing all types of computers, from desktops to laptops, and windows based to Apple products I always choose to make my purchases from Best Buy. This is for two simple reasons-they are a well known and massive company that is unlikely to go out of business anytime soon. The other, and far greater reason that I always shop at Best Buy, is because of their famously skilled computer technicians, the Geek Squad, and more specifically, because of the optional 1-3yr Geek Squad Accidental Protection service. I always opt for getting at least the 2 year extended warranty(i get their 3 year extended warranty on every product that has the 3 year option), and it has always been well worth the added cost. Sometimes the product was damaged by me accidentally, and other times the laptop simply died within the 2 year warranty timeframe. Regardless of why, Best Buy always either fixed the product at no cost to me, and my extended warranty remained intact for the duration of the original warranty. Or, Best Buy replaced the product with the same item, if it was still in stock, or I was given a full refund of the price of the laptop onto a store credit card so I had that much money to use towards the purchase of a new laptop of my choice. The extended warranty is used up when the item is totaled out, meaning that amount is not refunded, so you need to repurchase the extended warranty when you purchase the new product, which is always worth it.

Computer is clean and runs great no issues whatsoever. Haven't needed geek squad on this Computer but have always had good service when ive had other electrics serviced

I bought this one for my own laptop's safety and security!! because we never know what will happen tomorrow. The laptop that I bought is quite expensive, so I bought this geek squad protection plan. I don't want to have problems, should anything happen... (knock on wood!) It's always better to be on the safer side... Always... it's better to be safe than sorry.
