I like geek squad protection. electronics are expensive and this is peace of mind. Plus I think all the techs I have encountered are very knowledgable. I like I can ask questions and they treat me with respect. I have asked for advice on my purchases and they have helped me. They came to y home at no charge and fixed my smart TV. The cost of the extended warranty threw geek squad is well worth the money.

So far so good.have had problems with my kid breaking screens but never a problem with geek squad repairs or service. They’ve always gone an extra step to make sure they’re accommodating my misfortunes understandably.

I have used geeksquads insurance on a few of my gaming laptops and more expensive purchases over the years. Some of those had defects or were damaged due to mistakes. Best Buy has ALWAYS either fixed the issue to my satisfaction or replaced the item with a new item. In the few rare cases when the item couldn't be replaced they gave me a gift card worth the original purchase price of my product so that I could buy a replacement of similar quality. All in all I have been very happy with their insurance.

I added this Geek Squad service for my daughter's laptop computer. I think it is the best choice to have it protected.

I decided to spend a little more this time and I am glad I did! You can tell this laptop is just made better, my last few were more flimsey and just more creekey with noises when opening and closing the lid, etc. This one is solid and feels well made. I also love the specs! I can play any of my games at best settings and it handles with ease!

Life is full of surprises and not all of them are good. I glad to have peace of mind should my Lenovo crashes or I need some help with it. It's nice to know that my new Lenovo is in good hands should I need a helping hand.

In my 10 years of purchasing all types of computers, from desktops to laptops, and windows based to Apple products, I always opt for getting at least the 2 year extended warranty, and it has always been well worth the added cost. Sometimes the product was damaged by me accidentally, and other times the laptop simply died within the 2 year warranty timeframe. Regardless of why, Best Buy always either fixed the product at no cost to me, and my extended warranty remained intact for the duration of the original warranty. Or, Best Buy replaced the product with the same item, if it was still in stock, or I was given a full refund of the price of the laptop onto a store credit card so I had that much money to use towards the purchase of a new laptop of my choice. The extended warranty is used up when the item is totaled out, meaning that amount is not refunded, so you need to repurchase the extended warranty when you purchase the new product, which is always worth it.

Thankfully have not had to use this, and hope never to. 4 stars because I can't honestly say what the customer service is like.

When my computer accidentally dropped I was able to bring it in store without having to pay extra to get it fixed. They were very helpful

If feels good to know my laptop will be covered through nursing school. My salesman was very nice and he explained all the options. 3 years seemed like the best plan because my program will be 2.5 years.

The agents sent out my laptop to be fixed, but as it was going to be more expensive to repair than was worth it, I was refunded for my laptop instead.

Absolutely love they have this service available for purchases, life always happens and you never know what may happen
