    Horrible laptop very slow the first time using it

    I bought the laptop on 4/25 . I returned it the next day on 4/26. As soon as I powered it on it ran really slow , and gave me the not responding message when trying to go on the internet . Nothing would load . That is ridiculous for it to be the first time I turned the laptop on. I would not recommended at all . The computer did not work . The restarting even took a while . Poorly made.

    I purchased this protection for my Dell laptop purchase. I used it last year when my trackpad failed. They fixed one problem but created another problem when I could not cut & pace. I had to use this service again. Point being. They should check their work before returning the device as fixed.

    I purchased this just to make sure but I feel like I did not needed since I never got to use it and it was just money invested in something else that I didn’t need

    I honestly should’ve known better not to but this protection for my laptop. If you take care of your electronics and know that you won’t break it in any accidental way, don’t let them convince you with their whole “better safe that sorry” talk. If you’re worried about any long term defects down the road, register the manufacturer warranty. Only buy it if you know you are prone to breaking your electronics and don’t take proper care of it at all.

    Kind of irritated I bought two years of this protection when ASUS provides damage and spill protection free for the first year.

    Horrible. 3 or more weeks to repair. Sat in the box for a 2 months. Tried to charge and the charge port is bad. Didn’t bother to test before handing back to me. Trying to sell on eBay as they won’t refund my money for unit. Just an unpleasant experience and a promise that was barely kept. The more time wasted the less the item will be worth when eventually listed on eBay.

    DO NOT BUY unless you live next to a Best Buy

    My experience with this protection was horrible. In the end, I just wrote my device off as a loss. DO NOT PURCHASE if you do not live near a Best Buy location and are positive it will not close. My nearest Best Buy location was about 2 hours away...but that one closed making the next closest location an almost 4 hour one-way trip. You MUST do repair drop-off in-person and, if they decide the device will not be repaired but exchanged for a store credit, you HAVE to return IN-PERSON to finialize thie credit..you can't do it on the phone, you can't do it via email, you can't do it online...even if you initially purchased the item online. Best Buy, please visit your policies in this matter. I've lost hours on the phone trying to work out a solution and now I've lost the price of my device and this extra protection.

    Waste of money! Had to make numerous long phone calls to get this refunded after 2 months! Finally when approved, had to go to the store to get the refund and the representative at the counter was extremely rude! Told me the insurance was used up because the cost was higher than the premium. I asked what if it had been repaired and he just shrugged his shoulders and told me there is a supply chain shortage, haven't you heard about all the ships waiting to off load their merchandise? There's a shortage so we can't help you. You're lucky we are giving your money back! Unbelievable! Where was this guy trained?

    According to other geek squad guys, it doesn’t cover what the one that sold it to us said. So I wouldn’t recommend it, based on that.
