Have never used a protection plan on a laptop so the verdict is out as to how geek squad would remedy a situation shall it arise.

Still waiting to see if someone is going to show me about the protection plan and go over the details with me

I've not yet gotten any value from this purchase , but it is "insurance" -- any pays of in the event of a problem. Hard to know whether insurance is over priced or not.

Too bad it doesn't cover my cracked TracFone screen. But great job on data transfer from my old fried PC,s hard drive.

battery does not stay charged long and the coloring is a bit more reddish than photo companies computers are.

Best Buy sells you their ridiculously priced warranties, and does little to nothing to assist you with your damaged product. I had such a fight with fixing my laptop, and then they credit you back the price of the laptop at the time, as opposed to replacing it with the same or similar equipment. So if the one you bought a month ago is now higher priced, you're out more money. What a cruddy warranty! Do better, Best Buy!

Haven't had to use it so I really can't say much about it. I don't usually get warranties but did this time.

So far so good. Wasn't able to get a manufacturers warranty but was able to add this. Seems like a good deal for laptops.

Why did I pay out the nose for this protection if my laptop is to be misdiagnosed and I'm told I have to send it out for 4-6 weeks to be fixed. 4-6 weeks is an absolutely ridiculous timeframe, if I could go without my laptop that long then I wouldn't even bother getting fixed. Everyone is nice but 4-6 weeks is absurd especially when it is both less than 6 months old and I have purchased the extended warranty

Bought the 3 yrs geek protection for the laptop that just not working properly and we ended up returned the laptop. But they won't let you get the credit for the $69.99 protection plan. And after argued a lot with different customer serv. finally got it back, only with gift merchandise... so dissapointed :(

I’ve seen really amazing warranties, and I’ve seen terrible ones. This warranty is appropriate in a lot of aspects, only because it’s on the pricey side of things. I can’t be upset, since I bought it. I guess you pay extra for the peace of mind.

Purchased because who knows lol but overall does help out

I have not used my geek squad protection my laptop was stolen. It's unfortunate that theft isn't covered or even offered.

not always the best protection. had a difficult time trying to get a laptop replaced after multiple visits.

An excellent thing to have. I love the protection and all that it covers. This was a great investment.

Agent was very helpful but couldn't help me with something that was probably very simple. I was going to have to pay $180 for a total protection plan. Well what exactly does the protection plan that came with my laptop cover?? Very disappointed

Hope I dont gave to use it, but is comforting to know if something happen it will be taken care of.

Its a bit pricy for something you my or may not use.

Just bought this on Christmas Eve for my daughter and it will not hold a charge at all. I even had her wait to charge it 3 different times until the battery was very low to build it up and make it stronger and it’s horrible!! She barely has anything downloaded on there.. very disappointing
