If you get something that's as expensive as the surface with the possibility that you could drop it, something inside could go wrong or the battery could fail you want a warranty for protection.

This service plan is a no brainer if buying a new electric item. The piece of mind having a protection plan is well worth buying and highly recommended.

Super nice to have in case you ever need anything done on your computer or products. I havent had to use them this time around but I have in the past.

I recommend always buying the Geek Squad protection just in case. The manufacturer warranty only covers defects and this protection covers everything unless I take it for a swim. It is well worth the cost.
