I purchased this protection plan for an expansive laptop I purchased to do video and audio editing on for work. After one of the hinges on the laptop broke 9 months after buying it I brought it to my local store and they sent it away to be fixed telling me it would take 2-4 weeks to do so. It has now been over a month of me being hamstrung and less productive due to having to use me wife's inferior computer because they still haven't fixed my computer. I've called the national number 5 times in the last 2 weeks and every time the associate has no more information than I can get in the tracking repair link. Repeated notes they have put in for a tech to call me and explain what is going on with my laptop and what's taking so long have gone unanswered and it's impossible to call my local Geek Squad to see what they can do because every call goes to the national hotline. I've been buying my electronics including phones, TV's and computers from Best Buy for over 15 years but after the experience I've had with this, it may be time to move on to someone else!!

This is a must when to sma student in college. You never know what can happen.
