This computer has been awesome. I have had it for 4.5 years at this point and it runs super fast. Plays pretty much any game I want with mid settings. After I updated the ram to 64 GB it runs on max settings with zero issues. It can get pretty hot so make sure the ports are clear. Additionally it should be opened up and cleaned at least once a year. Only issue is you need a giant bag to carry it around.

I work in electronics. Since 1980. I never used to get extended warranties, as I can almost always fix something myself, assuming it would even break. Dirty contacts and cold solder joints years ago, to replacing BGA system-on-a-chip today. But in the last 10 years or so, the mass production of low-power devices means that power surges, manufacturing imperfections, and even the occasional drop (!) makes it much more likely to need to repair something, and that takes time, parts, and setting-up the workstation for micro-repair. There are rarely enough hours in a week to get scheduled things done, much less unscheduled. The 3 times I've used Geek Squad in the last decade were easy, helpful, and just a big time saver. I seriously consider it now on most big-ticket (and even 'medium' ticket) purchases. The coverage is also usually superior to other coverages, such as credit card or other third-party service.

Amazing machine. I like it a lot more than expected. When I first unboxed it the backlit keyboard had some keys lit while others were off. After a bios update and windows update the problem resolved itself and everything works. Afterwards, I ran a timespy benchmark to validate the 115 watt 3070 GPU and it is in fact a beast. I scored 10,935 with the GPU and 9700 with the processor. I was simply blown away. This is near desktop performance. On top of that the LED light bar is pretty cool when have it chilling lid closed. The keyboard and trackpad are both solid. I've tried the G15 zephryus and G15 TUF with a 3070. TUF was the slowest, the zephryus has a garbage speakers and soldered ram which bothered me. This seems to be heavier, but believe me its not that noticeable. Personally, I have this docked most of the time as it displays content on my external monitor.

I love Lenovo, it just needs more memory at an affordable price. Theres a large price hike for between the 16GB and the 32GB of RAM. Other than that, the product is rop tier! Touch screen is chef’s kiss

For the price the laptop does very good. I've got it running for right now minecraft at full settings and FOV and the laptop easily pushes 144 frames. Pros - Newer generation GPU with a 12th gen i5. Fast responses in games and in workloads. Great looking 1080p screen. Cons - Speakers are pretty terrible, plan to use headphones. The 4060 is basically a 3060, not much difference in computing power, power draw, clock speeds, or really anything else. Summary - better than average computer that if you get for roughly 1200 dollars is a good deal. Any more spent on it means you're getting scammed.

I've proudly had this laptop for over 3 years and it has served me well. However, I opened it to hear a crackling and found that my screen is separating from the frame by the left hinge. It's only slightly affecting my display, but of course, I'm unable to close my laptop. It's a very thin & fragile screen, and I feel that's why I stumbled upon this problem. Thankfully I caught it early, but I believe my whole screen is indeed going to have to be replaced amongst other smaller things. The performance of this laptop is A+ and was used daily for multiple hours for the past 3 years. Overall, I would recommend this to others, but take care when opening/closing.

Good value at a great price and good piece of mind. You never know what will happen while using your computer.. Always get a warranty. for laptops make sure it includes the battery life.

Tbd I haven't needed them yet, but I honestly have No faith in anything Best Buy Customer service related at this point. I can't give a 5 nor 1 star yet but will update if I'm able one I have more to share.

The Chromebooks from Best Buy are a hit with the kids! They’re lightweight, easy to use, and perfect for schoolwork, streaming, or games. The battery life is so impressive that parents have to hide the chargers just to get their kids to take a break. Definitely a great purchase for families!
