    I went to Best Buy because I cannot retrieve my laptop product key and the Geek Squad member Dani is helpful and courteous.

    This is the best you can do for your buy. They respond quickly. If the can fix it the will. If not the will do a store credit if the item is not available.

    Repair or Replacement Plan

    I can't really speak to the actual fulfillment of the service, however I can say that the peace of mind that comes from having a protection plan (on something that I could not afford to buy a replacement for) is absolutely worth it's cost if the item is important. There's my rant.

    This was a great thing to get. We had some trouble with charging the computer we purchased and with the protection plan we didn’t spend a penny on getting it fixed.

    Why does the warranty start on day 1 instead of the day the manufacturer warranty expires? Doesn't make sense. For this chromebook it has a one year warranty, so Geek Squad warranty should start on day 366. That'd be common sense. Based on previous experience with this protection on a different Lenovo Chromebook, I hope this one protects me better than that time. When I bought it previously, the BB employee told me that if I have any issues with it that they'd very likely just replace it when I brought it in (said that manufacturer won't do that but we will). Yeah they don't, they sent it in and it took a while to come back. That's fine but it didn't last long before it broke again and by then the warranty was up. The issue was a bad keyboard sticking on top row. I treat my technology very well, not around kids, so I think it just wasn't fixed well the first time or had inferior parts. I bought it again for this Chromebook because I needed some coverage in case something happened sooner than later but time will tell.

    Geek Squad Protection is the best. If you have a damaged product they either send it for repair or they let you exchange the product. Definitely a great investment in case something is damaged. Only thing I say is that you have to buy another protection plan if you go to geek squad once.

    Have used geek squad before. Very easy to walk in and have problem addressed they send your product off free of cost and returned with no further problems

    This plan is for the 3 year accidental protection. If you are most likely to have accidents with your device or if you have kids or pets that mess around a lot. I would recommend this. Other wise if you keep your things safe or don't use it don't often, I would say you won't need this plan.

    When BB was open they helped tremendously

    When BB was open they helped with my Dell lap top. However I have problems with chrome book and now have to wait til store reopens. Can’t get any one from store on phone for help AND can’t get geek squad person on phone for help. I’m not computer savy n need help taking parental control off chrome book

    When they come out to the house they are so informative! I've trusted Geek squad for a lot of years now. It was unfortunate that I had to use Geek squad in Canada. Canadian Geek Squad are so nice and quick. I had to pay full price. The Canadians told me that most of their States customers get the US geek squad to cover the cost. Well I didn't get it covered and the US geek squad were rude.

    I absolutely love this laptop. My daughter ended up "stealing" it from me to play Roblox on it, so I started looking to get a replacement and am so bummed they don't have this or something similar to it anymore :(

    It truly depends on my purchase on whether I buy the service plan. Whatever it is though, Geek squad members are pretty good with their assistance.

    My laptop and I are on the go constantly! With that, I unfortunately break it from time to time with all the wear and tear. Geek Squad has been there every time to fix or replace the item.

    Lots of waiting to use it when you need it

    Worth it for major repairs but if you need something minor that would be covered it's a bit inconvenient. You have to schedule appointments weeks out to even see them for something minor then they need to hold onto your device because there's no way to pre-coordinate the parts you need with the experts before you see them. The extended waits to schedule, then for them to order parts you could of figured out at the start together makes it easier for their employees but at the expensive of the customer. Example: Laptop I purchased needed a new W key and I wanted to make sure the store had the part when I showed up because I can put the thing on myself and it would of been covered by this plan but I ended up just ordering one myself online because it was two weeks to before I could see someone at a store and they refused to talk to me about parts or the issue prior to that meeting. Then at the store I would of had to wait for them to order the specific part after waiting two weeks to see them.
