Although the quality of my purchase was great, I have positive experience with the warranty coverage and did not think twice about securing it.

Purchased for a Sony Receiver. After 6 months, the receiver would go into protect mode after 5 minutes. I dropped of the receiver for service last month. Still waiting for the repair to complete. So for an extra $55 dollars, I am not sure it is worth it as the repair time is probably no quicker than the factory warranty would be.

I really like the Geek Squad service and personnel at our local store. It's easy to get an appointment and they have a quick turn around time.

Geek Squad protection is worth the price on any device you taking other places - even covers accidental damage in most cases.

Buy something nice, you need to protect it. A bit expensive, but can be worth it with a disaster, like a dropped laptop.

good protection so far I have not had to use it but it give me peace of mind to know i have if i need it to repair or replace my laptop.

I never buy a laptop without the protection plan. Bestbuy is really good with taking care of the issue.

You can't go wrong with protection plans on anything these days, its better to be safe than sorry.
