WhatEVER you do, DO NOT buy a computer without this protection. If you cant afford this AND Total Tech support, regretfully, you can't afford a computer. Factor this in your computer budget when buying a computer. Unless you are a Tech guru, DO NOT neglect to get the total tech support AND the extended warranty they offer here. You will likely end up with a larger bill trying to get your computer tuned-up/fixed without it.

I've had Geek Squad protection many times before and I will continue to buy it for all my major purchases. Definitely worth the money, especially for your peace of mind.

They did everything I could hope for in setting up my computer. The only thing they could have done to sweeten the experience would have been to offer me chocolate. The Geek folks were that good. And nice people too.

Everthing works fine now.. had a few problems with it just turning off. Also, my version of this pc came damaged. As you can see in the pictures!

Add so much value to my purchases. I would not want to make a purchase without it.

this is an expensive piece of hardware for me. I use it for work and am glad to have the peace of mind. Likely going to take it to get serviced regularly too

I have not needed to test this to date - but they keep asking for a review. I have no reason not to believe this product is good. I am enjoying the peace of mind that I get from having it, so that is worth something.

I got geek squad accidental damage protection for a gaming PC. A water spill ruined the gpu. Liars at the store told me they didn’t have to fix it because I didn’t have a plus membership; I had to read back the ADP agreement to them. They took six weeks to replace the gpu with several inconsistent excuses as to why. One of these excuses was that they were waiting on a replacement gpu from the manufacturer (cyber power pc), which was a lie (it came back to me with a second-hand HP Omen gpu). The replacement gpu runs obscenely hot. Geek squad ADP used to be the best warranty in the business. They’re dead to me now.

Great piece of mind for the value...definitely worth it.

when it comes to protecting my high dollar Best Buy purchases , i "always" get the extended warranties/protection plans from Geek Squad ; have used them several times in my lifetime and it has saved me a lot of my hard earned cash and reduced the frustration when things did not work ; so always go with the highest plan you can afford ; a great value to price addition to all you high dollar purchases .

I’ve had them before and if anything goes wrong they can fix it.

It's feel a relief knowing that you are protected from virus

We always buy the 3-year protection when we get a expensive Electronics product. Worth the money because you never know when something could go wrong. For instance I bought a Samsung active 2 watch for my wife for Christmas in a few months afterwards it glitched on her. They replaced the watch with a brand new one with no questions asked.

I highly recommend getting Geek Squad protection with any computer purchase, they're great to work with, and you don't have to seek out a computer specialist, and hope they know what they're doing.

The Best Buy employee did not try to "over sale" the protection plan. He just told us the benefits vs. the manufacturer's warranty only--being able to come in physically to a store for repairs vs. having to ship items out. And we were sold!

so far, this service is worth it's price and my comfort in knowing that if something fails after the manufacturer warranty, this will kick in and to fix whatever fails for my peace of mind. the manufacturer always wants you to ship your item back in the original box, who keeps these things years later? just not practical, so therefore I get this product where I can drop off my item for service and more on.

I love geek squad. Always have, easy to put in a request, easy to walk in or call over the phone and get it resolved. Great insurance for an affordable price.
