This was purchased for a HP laptop I have. Bare in mind it covers HARDWARE (screen hinge, keys breaking, the physical parts) not SOFTWARE. Long story short I did a fresh install of Windows 11 (yeah that’s a issue in itself) but for whatever reason they drivers for the Wi-Fi didn’t work, not allowing me to go online. Which is weird. Modern laptops no longer has a Ethernet port, so I brought the laptop to BestBuy. The gentleman was nice enough to download said drivers and all is fine. He really didn’t have to do that, as it’s not a hardware issue. But he did and I am grateful. No complaints.

getting warranty is essential for any computer equipment. luckily for me I haven't had the need to use it yet. In the past Geek Squad has been great & responsive

I feel confident if anything happens to my laptop. That I can get a new one and not loose my work. I even bought one for my son, so he can use it for school.

I never buy electronics without investing in additional protection. The product protection is great for those unexpected mishaps. I have used it a few times with Best Buy, and I was so glad that I had it. I do advise that people pay attention to the value of the coverage offered. Though the protection may cover a certain amount of time, the coverage will not exceed a certain dollar amount. I reached the eligible dollar amount for repairs under my coverage prior to the end of my 2 year period and received a friendly email that the product was no longer covered under the protection plan. Considering that I had used it twice, I believe it was worth the money.

Be Careful guys, Ever since the brought this Total Tech, or what ever they call it now, when you buy something, they try to push is Total Tech thing instead of their regular warranty. Regular warranty in my case was a 3year warranty for a laptop and the total Tech program is only for one year at 179.99+Tax. Almost double of what the 3yr is alone. You'll pay almost double the price. 3yr warranty price totally worth it IMO.

I recommend getting the warranty I paid for one and my daughter fell on ice and damaged the computer beyond repair and I was able to get another with the warranty

I ended up buying this because the laptop I purchased and had to return had a broken screen. I got a replacement laptop, but felt like I needed to pay extra for a warranty just in case it breaks again. I don't usually need to buy these for my laptops as I'm fairly careful with them, so the fact that I felt I needed to buy one of these in the first place is a mark against the laptop I bought (or its build quality) and also the company for selling broken products.

Having purchased this protection for my labtop I have piece of mind traveling with my device for any mishaps I encounter.

When my computer accidentally dropped I was able to bring it in store without having to pay extra to get it fixed. They were very helpful

If you are going to buy a laptop, especially a gaming machine or a laptop for school, always buy the 3 years extended warranty. I have had a great experience with the warranty part of my computer. I bought an MSI GE72VRF for use at school in my IT cybersecurity classes. Computer worked great for 3 months and then the video card went out. The Geek Squad was great, they look at my computer and determined that it was best just to give me a new one on the spot. Which has served me better, but I am actually about to go and take that one in too. So long story short, buy the warranty, it's good for you!

They helped me a lot. I had everything put in and it was easy to use. They showed me how to do Shortcuts so it helped out a lot. Thanks for recommend you guys to anybody.

I bought the GS service b/c I purchased a laptop. I appreciate making appointments online; though at times, there still is a wait in a queue at the store. Nonetheless, when it is my turn the techs are focused on me and my item. I find the GS knowledgable; they have helped me when most panicked.

I purchased thos protection for this laptop i have not had to use yet but I purchased this protection for my old laptop and had to use it becaise i broke my screen. They fixed my laptop in a timely manner and fixed everything perfectly. This protrction is 100% worth it do not a laptop with out this protection. I literally broke my screen only a couple days after i purchased my laptop and im so happy i did!

Chromebook is well manufactured. The purchase price is very reasonable for the use needed. Both of my boys, (middle school & high school ) prefer to use this Chromebook vs. the one provided by their school. I highly recommend this Chromebook for those parents shopping for their kids for school. Lightweight, keypad size and pad, perfect.

Peace of mind or fallung asleep while drinking that energy drink! The Geeks have yoyr back!
