This protection ended up being a blessing. My daughter's laptop screen accidentally cracked within a month of purchase. The whole machine was marked as not fixable and was replaced at the store with no charge. It took a few hours at the store to actually make this happen but with a good result. Only thing questionable is why my 2 year protection was used completely when only one month was actually used. I could understand taking one year of the protection to make up for the unfixable pc but I think one year should have been reimbursed or put towards the new pc.

Employees were very helpful and knowledgeable about the products inside. Although I did not find exactly what I wanted employees gave me several options and I felt like I walked away with a better understanding of the electronic components I was looking for

We encourage a warranty incase any accidents happen. You never know if you will need it and we are thankful we got this!

Geek squad helped me with purchase return recommendation.

The first time I got Geek protection I had a muscle spasm and spilled a little coffee on my end table...... and off onto my computer table. Dead and it was only 11 days old. Took it back and they gave me a new computer. The next time my hands were freezing after pulling a little bird out of the freezing bird bath. I picked up my computer and immediately dropped it on concrete on the corner. It crumbled. They sent it in and put a new skin on it. I wouldn’t own a computer without it. An accident is exactly what it is. A never could happen to you!!!!

So far so good. I had to have computer repaired and was done at no cost to me. Also-they sent me a new cord for free.

Definitely recommend getting protection. I take care good care of my devices but accidents always happen

Simple and easy very cheap very Worthy guaranteed satisfaction in my opinion

I got this for my son's school Chromebook. His first one broke while in a padded and hardcase/shell just from falling off a desk. We used this service and got a decent amount back towards a new one. Did take over a week to get analysis completed and get my refund, so that was a challenge. It ouke be noce if BestBuy figured out how to speed that up.

Should have opted for longer plan. My laptop fried almost exactly a year into having it and geek squad sent it off for repair and had it back to me before my finals were due!

This protection is perfect because you're covered when you have an accident. I bought this computer for the shop and the guys aren't always the most careful. I knew it would come in handy eventually.

Geek squad stands by their warranty. Only thing i dont agree with os 5 days after purchase. The system broke and had to replace the whole system and i had to buy a new warranty for 80$. I feel the 2 year warranty should have transferred to new system. Or should have only had to pay the 5 days prorated to bring it back to 2 years.

Haven’t had to use it yet. But I’m sure it’ll be a good experience.
